Lightning photography is very addicting. A few times i have almost been hit so it is a reminder that it can also be dangerous or deadly.
If you venture out to try to capture the shot keep in mind of your surroundings and stay safe. A lot of my shots are done with the camera outside while I am in a building or vehicle. Rarely so I stand in the open and photograph storms.
