18 Amazing Black and White Portraits
A good portrait is a one reflecting the true emotion of the subject. Black and white portraits easily succeed in this transmission of emotion, because of the lack of colors. Great portraits aren’t those simply showcasing a pretty face or body. They are more about a photographer and a subject collaborating, in order to convey a raw emotion or message to the viewer.
Here are 33 amazing black and white portraits for your inspiration . All photos are linked and lead to the sources from which they were taken. Please feel free to click on each photo to learn more about the talented photographer behind it.

this are so amazing!!! Thank you for sharing!!!!
Thanks! I am glad that you liked it!
old people are definitely the best subjects
I like black and white photography but I wish they can show real people with real not arranged behaviour and attitude. I miss that very much! Even the children from the photos are pretending. That’s disgusting. And the edit of photos to get “better effects” or image makes me puke!
I want something real, do you understand that? I am not satisfied with masks and lies. People need real, genuine, natural expressions.
This doesn’t satisfies me, maybe because of the editing.
Radwa,
Great work! Especially the babies and children.
